Power comes in many forms.
Yet, it can only be sustained in a peaceful manner if
the people under its influence can trust those who are in power.
A leader’s actions determine the extent and destiny of his power.
Once their trust is lost, power is lost.
Once power is lost, force becomes the only way to preserve it.
Prologue
Upon the backdrop of Hong Kong protests and previous epidemics, the Chinese Coronavirus Pandemic gave us another taste of communism or more precisely Xi Jinping's dream of "Socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era.”
To understand China's socialism, it’s important to know what really happened during the coronavirus pandemic which plunged the world into a war that caused mass socioeconomic destruction and death.
Through deceit, propaganda and apathy for human life, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) exposed communism to the world in a "pervasive and personal way" – by permeating our homes and altering our existence.
Introduction
Communism and socialism are ideologies that advocate an equal distribution of wealth, state ownership of various goods and services, and globalization. They are opposed to capitalism.
A more pragmatic way to define communism or socialism is by its fruits -- how it cares for its people and the world they live in.
To discern whether doing business with China is worth the risk, let’s examine how the CCP cared for its people and their world by recalling the tragic chronology of the Chinese Coronavirus Pandemic.
But, before we delve into the unfolding Chinese coronavirus story, it’s worthwhile remembering the past.
China has a long history of mismanaging epidemics

SARS coronavirus epidemic in 2003 traveled to 30 nations and killed 800 people

Six Chinese bird flu epidemics between 2013-2017 infected 1,565 people - 39% of them died

Five Chinese died from the bubonic plague and six from the pneumonic plague since 2014
Recent coverup of the pneumonic plague
03NOV2019: A man and his wife from a town near Mongolia were airlifted to Beijing after being diagnosed with a rare, highly infectious and potentially fatal pneumonic pathogen. [1,2,3]

03NOV2019: Li Jifeng, the doctor who attended to the married couple, who were struggling to breathe, described their condition via WeChat. Li’s social media post was quickly deleted by the CCP. [4]
Note: Twitter is banned (blocked) in China but is used by the CCP to spread propaganda using bots.
12NOV2019: The CCP informed the World Health Organization (WHO) about the couple who were diagnosed with the pneumonic plague, only after the cases were reported by journalists. [4]
13NOV2019: Chinese Centre for Disease Control and Prevention told Beijing residents via Weibo not to worry about contracting the disease and that the risk of further transmission is “extremely low.” [4]
The Chinese Coronavirus Story
A hellish story that is still being unveiled

First confirmed coronavirus infection
17NOV2019: Although not reported until months later, a 55-year-old man from Hubei province may have been the first person to contract a ‘new’ coronavirus according to Chinese government data. [5]
From that day forward, one to five cases occurred each day. Up to 266 people were infected in 2019. [6]

Wuhan is the capital city of the Hubei province in China
First human-to-human transmission
01DEC2019: A 61-year old man who worked at the Huanan market, and his wife, who never visited the market, were hospitalized and isolated with pneumonia-like symptoms. The man died on January 10th -- the first fatal case of the ‘new’ Chinese coronavirus. [7,8]
First case confirmed
08DEC2019: First case of the coronavirus was confirmed. Yet, this November 17 case wasn't reported to the World Health Organization (WHO) by China’s government until December 31. [8]
10DEC2019: Wei Guixian, a 57-year-old woman who sold shrimp at the Huanan Market, was the first person “on record” to be reported as being infected by the coronavirus.
She was incorrectly labeled as “patient zero” by the media for many weeks. [8]
On December 31, Wuhan’s Municipal Health Commission confirmed that Wei was not the first case but among the first 27 patients who tested positive for the Chinese coronavirus, and one of 24 cases with a direct link to the seafood market. [9]

Huanan City Seafood and Wildlife Market
25DEC2019: On Christmas Day (not celebrated by the CCP), medical staff at two local Chinese hospitals were quarantined when they came down with an unidentified viral pneumonia. [8]
Evidence destroyed
26DEC2019: Chinese laboratories from Wuhan identified a new SARS-like “mysterious” virus. Chinese health official ordered them to stop tests, destroy samples and suppress the news. [10,11]

Level 4 microbiology lab that studies coronavirus 9.6 miles from Huanan City Market
Note: The Wuhan National Biosafety Laboratory, at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, is China’s only high-risk Biosafety Level 4 microbiology lab equipped to handle deadly coronaviruses. It is located 9.6 miles from the Huanan Market and 5.6 miles from the Central Hospital. The Jiangxia Center for Disease Control (CCDC), located 25 miles from the market, houses many disease-ridden animals, including 605 bats. It is likely that the deadly virus originated from one of these labs. [12, 13]
Horseshoe bats are suspected of carrying a virus that is identical (99.98%) to the coronavirus. They are from the Yunnan or Zheijiang provinces, 600 miles from Wuhan. These bats were not sold at the Wuhan city market. It is unlikely that they flew from their caves to Wuhan. Although the virus could have entered the Wuhan market via an intermediate host like a pangolin. [14,15]

Proximity of Level 4 microbiology lab to Huanan Seafood Market and Central Hospital
In 2018, the U.S. State Department raised concerns that the Wuhan Institute of Virology lacked safety protocols and warned that if cautionary steps weren’t taken, the lab’s research could spark another SARS-like outbreak. [16]
Note: More evidence needs to confirm the origin of the virus; whether it was created naturally or in a lab. But what is blatantly clear, is that the lack of evidence to determine the origin of the deadly virus is due to the lack of trust, cooperation and transparency by the CCP.
Genetic sequence of “mysterious” novel coronavirus is mapped out
27DEC2019: Although not reported until February 27, China’s top genetic sequencing companies, Vision Medicals in Guangzhou and Beijing’s Genomics Institute and CapitalBio MedLab mapped the genetic sequence of the coronavirus after receiving fluid samples from the lung of a 65-year old Huanan Market deliveryman. The results showed an alarming similarity to the deadly SARS coronavirus. [17]
Coronavirus is revealed in Wuhan

27DEC2019: Dr. Zhang Jixian, director of the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care at Hubei Provincial Hospital of Integrated Chinese & Western Medicine, examines patients and discovers the infectious coronavirus disease. She reports the cases to her superiors at the hospital. [18, 19, 20]
28DEC2019: Hubei Provincial Hospital leaders report to Wuhan CDC public health officials that an unusual coronavirus is causing the highly contagious illnesses and needs special attention. [21]
Bad news is suppressed: Frontline doctors are silenced

30DEC2019: Dr. Ai Fen, head of the emergency department at Wuhan Central Hospital, shared lab test results and a video of lung CT scan images -- She was harshly reprimanded and is now missing. [9,20]

Dr. Li Wenliang shared Dr. Ai Fen’s information about the virus to more than 100 of his medical school classmates via WeChat, mentioning “7 SARS like cases confirmed from the Huanan Seafood Market” and CapitalBio’s genetic sequencing results. He was harshly reprimanded. The Communist government censored the spread of this information and removed it from social media. [9, 20, 21, 22]
First case reported
31DEC2019: The World Health Organization (WHO) was notified by the Chinese government of the outbreak of a coronavirus in Wuhan. A cluster of 201 pneumonia cases with an unknown cause (later confirmed to be coronavirus cases) were confirmed by China’s National Health Commission and CDC. [23,24]
China lied and people died
Wuhan’s branch of the National Health Commission ordered genomics company to stop testing, destroy all samples, and then dishonestly reported: “The investigation so far has not found any obvious human-to-human transmission or infection of medical staff. The disease is preventable and controllable.” [25]
01JAN2020: To keep others quiet and stop information from spreading, eight whistleblowers, including Dr. Li, were summoned by the Wuhan Public Security Bureau and brought in for questioning for posting information about the virus on WeChat. Most medical professionals all got the message to stay quiet. [9,26]
A potential source of the threat was closed
01JAN2019: Chinese authorities identified 266 people who had been infected. 27 of the initial 41 people hospitalized with pneumonia were exposed to wild animals sold at the market and were infected by the coronavirus disease. The Huanan market was closed. [27]

Bushmeat (ye wei in Chinese)
Note: Bushmeat and other exotic animals were sold at the Huanan “wet” market. 33 out of 585 samples obtained from the market indicated evidence of the coronavirus disease. Just prior to this discovery, city officials had inspected and approved the operation of the market. Livestock were kept next to dead animals that were slaughtered and skinned in the market. The New York Times reported that “sanitation was dismal with poor ventilation and garbage piled on wet floor.” [28]
A tragic omission of a massive scale
02JAN2020: The Wuhan Institute of Virology identified and mapped the genome of a new coronavirus – 2019-nCoV (Novel coronavirus) – but it was kept secret. [9, 25]
03JAN2020: Police from the Wuhan Public Security Bureau Interrogated Dr. Li Wenliang. He was blamed for leaking information about the disease. The police gave him a warning notice and censured him for “making false comments on the Internet.” He was made to sign a letter of admonition promising not to do it again. The police warned him that if he failed to learn from the admonition and continued to violate the law he would be prosecuted. Dr. Li returned to the hospital to save more lives, contracted the coronavirus disease on January 12, and eventually died on February 7. [26]
No action taken by Chinese authorities to contain the threat
Like the SARS outbreak in 2003 which led to 774 deaths, Chinese Communist Party officials covered up and dragged its feet in containing the coronavirus outbreak. [25]
04JAN2020: WHO waited for China to release data about the “mysterious virus” before taking action. Meanwhile, Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan took precautions to prevent the spread of the infection. [29]
06JAN2020: U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Alex Azar and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Dr. Robert Redfield offered to send a team to China – the Chinese Communist Party didn’t accept the offer. [30,31]
That same day, China’s CDC activates its emergency response system. [25]
07JAN2020: Chinese president Xi Jinping knew about the epidemic because he personally ordered officials to control the outbreak, which was not publicly disclosed until February 10th. The Communist Party authorities denied the virus could be spread between humans. [9, 31]

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom and President of China Xi Jinping
Note: Tedros Adhanom, the scandalous ex-Ethiopian Health Minister (who covered up three cholera epidemics in Ethiopia) and Chinese-supported director-general of the WHO was elected in 2017. He collaborated with Xi Jinping and the CCP to cover up the epidemic. Instead of immediately insisting upon access and transparency from China, he followed the Chinese lead and propagated their narrative. [9, 31]
08JAN2020: South Korea announced the first possible case of the Chinese coronavirus. [32]
Concealing critical early warning data
09JAN2020: Chinese government officials admitted they had a novel coronavirus outbreak and mapped the genetic sequence, but they did not release the data until Jan. 12. [25, 34]
China did not reveal critical information about who was sick, when they got sick and demographic information about those infected. As a result, evaluation of the outbreak remained inadequate. [31]

Transferring patients in Wuhan to Jin Yintan Hospital
First death
10JAN2020: China reports first death from mysterious outbreak in Wuhan – the 61-year-old man who was hospitalized on December 1st – plus 41 confirmed cases of the infection, stating “the case of the outbreak remains unknown,” while squashing speculation that it could be a reoccurrence of SARS. [33]
World’s biggest human migration begins
10JAN2020: World’s biggest human migration begins in China – 3 billion journeys – from January 10th to February 18th. China shut down travel domestically from Wuhan to the rest of China but did not stop international flights from Wuhan. [35,36]

More than 7 million Chinese travelled abroad during the Lunar New Year holiday

WHO announces no clear evidence of human-to-human transmission

WHO denying human-to-human transmission of coronavirus
14JAN2020: World Health Organization (WHO), a special agency of the United Nations, continued protecting the Chinese Communist Party on the day China signed a Phase One deal with the U.S. That day, the WHO announced that Chinese authorities had witnessed “no clear evidence of human-to-human transmission of the novel coronavirus.” [39]
15JAN2020: First case of COVID-19 reported in Japan. The person had visited Wuhan. [40]
15JAN2020: First infected American left Wuhan. Li Qun, the head of the Chinese CDC emergency center, repeated the narrative on state television “after careful screening and prudent judgment, we have reached the latest understanding that the risk of human-to-human transmission is low.” [41]
18JAN2020: Scores of people contract the coronavirus after attending the Baibuting Lunar New Year banquet in Wuhan. Staff asked the local communist authorities to cancel the gathering over fears of the coronavirus, but the authorities refused their request. Weeks later, a Baibuting resident posted a desperate plea for help on his Weibo social media account. He said the infection in the Baibuting community was so severe that many people had died, the community was in a “state of neglect,” diagnostic tests were being regulated, and critically ill patients were in the streets looking for help. But authorities deleted the post less than a day after it was shared online (with 29 million views). [42]

To set a world record, 40,000 families celebrate the Chinese New Year in Wuhan
Deadly Silence
Between January 5 and 20, no new cases were announced by the China government. During this time, Wuhan was hosting annual meetings for top municipal and provincial officials who downplayed the seriousness of the virus, saying it was controlled. Journalists are threatened and detained for reporting on the fast-moving virus. The Wuhan virus wasn't even front-page news on the local Wuhan Evening News, the city's best-selling newspaper, from January 6 to January 19. [43,44,45,46]

Anonymous nurse claimed 90,000 people in China were infected (not 2,744 as reported)

27JAN2019: After her video went viral (2 million views), the Wuhan Mayor Zhou Xianwang offered to resign after confessing that his government withheld the fact that there was a human-to-human transmission of the coronavirus on a large scale within Wuhan – a city with 11 million residents. He also admitted that 5 million people left the city before the lockdown. He blamed his superiors for mismanaging the crisis. In another act of deception, the Chinese Communist Party reported that there were over 2,700 confirmed cases, not 90,000 as the nurse had claimed. [54]

29JAN2020: Two days later, Tedros praised Chinese President Xi Jinping and the Chinese government on how they have “been completely committed to transparency” and mentioned that they “deserve our gratitude and respect” since almost 99 percent of cases and all death have been within China. He concluded by saying, "I will praise China again and again, because its actions actually helped in reducing the spread of the novel coronavirus to other countries … we shall tell the truth and that's the truth." [56,57]
30JAN2020: CDC confirmed the first human-to-human spread of the Wuhan coronavirus inside the United States. In its announcement, the WHO said, “the immediate risk to the American public is low.” [58]

In defiance, Tedros said "The main reason for this declaration is not because of what is happening in China, but because of what is happening in other countries." “This declaration is not a vote of no confidence in China. On the contrary, WHO continues to have confidence in China's capacity to control the outbreak. “China is actually setting a new standard for outbreak response." [59]

10FEB2020: Xu Zhangrun, a law professor at Beijing's prestigious Tsinghua University, published a scathing attack on the government’s response to the virus outbreak on February 10. His post was immediately taken down, and he was placed under house arrest with his Internet service blocked. Many other courageous activists, residents and dissidents are missing or detained such as Chen Quishi, a Chinese lawyer who posted viral video of about the tragic virus outbreak in January (missing since February 6). Fang Bin, a Wuhan resident and citizen journalist who posted a video showing a man die of the virus. His last message reportedly stated: “all people revolt - hand the power of the government back to the people” (missing since February 10). Guo Quan, a human rights activist, also criticized the Communist China Party’s coverup of the (unknown) coronavirus. x, a dissident writer, was detained for 10 days after condemning the government’s handling of the outbreak. Li Zehua, a former anchor for CCTV, warned people of the outbreak via YouTube before undercover police chased him in a car and presumably detained him at a hotel (missing since February 26). 08MAY2020: More than 4 million people have been infected and 275,000 have died from the Chinese coronavirus in 187 countries and territories. [93]
Confirmed Coronavirus “Deaths” by County

Conclusion
After mishandling past epidemics, China’s communist government once again proved to be reckless and grossly negligent in handling the outbreak of the Chinese-borne (COVID-19) coronavirus pandemic.
Early on, clinical data, samples and virus physiology, including a map of the virus’ genomic sequence, were withheld or destroyed. Physicians were reprimanded and silenced for sharing vital information.
Chinese Health officials reported the epidemic to the WHO only after frontline doctors exposed the outbreak via social media. Their social media posts were deleted, and accounts blocked.
A deadly period of silence ensued where no new cases were reported. Meanwhile, a trade deal was signed with the U.S. and the world’s largest human migration and banquet proceeded to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
Even though relatives and medical staff were infected, the CCP refuted human-to-human transmissions. Foreign aid was rejected. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) was hoarded.
After the virus was confirmed in Thailand, Japan, South Korea and the United States, the CCP banned domestic travel, but not international travel. When president Trump restricted entry into the U.S. from China, the WHO and U.S. socialist democrats criticized the decision as xenophobic and stigmatizing.
While the WHO praised China for its response to the “serious public health emergency,” critics were censored, quarantined or ended up missing. Foreign journalists were told to leave the country.
Faced with growing worldwide condemnation for mismanaging the contagion, the CCP launched a propaganda campaign to reject, deny, suppress and censor the bad news. Coronavirus cases and deaths were under-reported. Prominent communist leaders went as far as blaming the U.S. for the outbreak.
The CCP, with the complacent support of the WHO, deceitfully covered up the threat by lying about the contagion -- resulting in tremendous human cost to the Chinese people and the rest of the world – nearly 4 million infections and 300,000 deaths – pandemonium – and a global economic meltdown.
Sadly, the number of Chinese coronavirus cases could have been reduced by 95 percent had the CCP responded to the outbreak just three weeks earlier. [95]. Thus, the Chinese Coronavirus Pandemic is a tragic story of corrupt power.
The amount of the damage the Chinese dictatorship has done to its own people by letting the epidemic get out of control and turn into a pandemic – and the amount of damage it has done to people around the world – is stunning.
The world has now tasted communism in the sanctuary of their own home. Most everyone was harmed by its corruption, dishonesty and blatant disregard for human life.
So how do you feel about doing business with China?
